..LOCAL :: Site-Based Intensives & Consults

The site-based intensives and consults have been created for those who prefer face-to-face educational experiences that are close to home.

As part of this new facet of ministry to ministers, MNU faculty, adjuncts, and the extended community volunteer a limited number of weekend visits for local church training, as well as zone- or district-based events.

These events are arranged with local communities who agree to provide transportation and lodging for the guests.

In addition, SCIM will cooperate with area leaders to provide onsite district-level training that meets course of study or continuing education objectives.

As the SCIM website continues to grow, you will see the addition of bios and descriptions of the seminars and training events offered by each of the participating faculty. There will also be a constantly-updated calendar that will show you what is happening in the region, so that you can see if a particular presenter or seminar is available, as well as what is happening in your area through the district and/or other faith communities.

We look forward to serving our region in this new and exciting way, and look forward to the coming opportunities to meet new people in our region and have fellowship with the many wonderful churches we will be serving!
